Quickstart

Connect your AI agents to Whitepapper using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This page shows you where to find your MCP URL and what access it grants.

Get Your MCP URL

  1. Go to your Dashboard.
  2. Click the MCP tab.
  3. Copy the MCP URL shown above the config block.

Your MCP URL looks like:

https://whitepapper.antk.in/mcp

What MCP Gives Access To

When an agent connects via MCP, it gets full access to your entire workspace:

  • Read 15 tools for browsing projects, collections, papers, and searching content.
  • Write 12 tools for creating, updating, and deleting projects, collections, and papers.

The agent can operate on any content you own — there is no project-level scoping for MCP (unlike the Dev API).

Monthly Limits

MCP usage counts toward your account's monthly limit:

  • Usage is per user per month
  • Resets at the start of each month
  • The Dashboard MCP tab shows your current usage
  • Exceeding the limit returns errors from MCP tools

Supported Transport

Whitepapper MCP uses Streamable HTTP transport. All clients that support connecting via URL (not command-based) can use it.
