Connect Whitepapper MCP to the ChatGPT desktop app.

Prerequisites

• ChatGPT desktop app (not the web version)
• Your MCP URL from Dashboard > MCP tab

Step-by-Step

1. Enable Developer Mode

1. Open ChatGPT settings (click your profile picture > Settings).
2. Scroll to Developer mode and enable it.

2. Create an MCP App

1. Go to Settings > Apps.
2. Click Create app.
3. Fill in the name: whitepapper.
4. Paste your MCP URL into the URL field:

https://whitepapper.antk.in/mcp

5. Click "I understand and want to continue".
6. Click Create.

3. Complete OAuth

After creating the app, the OAuth flow opens in a browser window. Sign in to your Whitepapper account and approve the connection.

4. Use Whitepapper MCP

1. Click the + icon next to the message input.
2. Click More.
3. Select whitepapper from the list.

You can now ask ChatGPT to list projects, create papers, search content, and more.
