Connect Whitepapper MCP to OpenAI Codex CLI.

Prerequisites

• OpenAI Codex CLI installed
• Your MCP URL from Dashboard > MCP tab

Step-by-Step

1. Open Codex Settings

1. Open Codex CLI.
2. Click your profile picture or the settings gear icon.
3. Select Codex Settings.

2. Add MCP Server

1. Navigate to MCP Servers.
2. Click Add Server.
3. Fill in the server name: whitepapper.
4. Select Streamable HTTP as the transport type.
5. Paste your MCP URL:

https://whitepapper.antk.in/mcp

6. Click Save.

3. Authenticate

Wait a few seconds. An Authenticate button appears next to your new server entry. Click it and complete the OAuth flow in your browser:

1. Sign in to Whitepapper.
2. Approve the connection.
3. You are redirected back to Codex.

4. Use Whitepapper Tools

Once authenticated, Codex agents can call Whitepapper MCP tools. Try asking Codex to list your projects, search papers, or create content.
